High water began on the Bitterroot River and tributaries on Friday May 16th. The river will not be fishable now for about four to six weeks. Where do we fish is the cry from the fishermen in our local area. The recommended places during high water on the Bitterroot include Big Horn, Missouri, the upper Clark Fork at Warm Springs and any other tailwater available.
